Mass Pro and Laf Legend are two hip hop producers native to Jacksonville, FL who formed Prolegend Productions in 1999. The 2003 ground-breaking debut release Revolution Revalationz was well received on the underground market. Along with producing their own music Prolegend has also produced for numerous local Jacksonville artists.(Ville Click, Tarantino, Champ,A.M.P., Al Pete,Cuz 'n Dem etc) They have honed their sounds from the gritty Duval(Jacksonville,FL) streets as well as from influences deeply rooted in the southern tradition of soul, funk, blues, jazz, and gospel. The compilation album Revolution Revalationz is a down south classic that encompasses all aspects of Hip Hop, which featured many Jacksonville artists. In there latest reincarnation they have form a awesome rap 4-some recruiting Laf-Legend's Fire spitting brother Lank Dizzim and his talented partner and friend J-co. 2009 is scheduled to be a harvest filled year for Prolegend as they embark on many projects in particular the Highly Anticipated BlakDiamondz The Album Summer 09 featuring a Host of Hot Talented New Artists from Duval and Beyond!!
