My alias is 'The Millennial' and my true name is Clayton Sargent. I am 21 and I am from Chesapeake, Virginia.
Since age 12, I have been heavily involved with music. From performing to thousands of people, to writing an EDM record... I have done it. I have worked in the following genres over the years: Rock, Alternative, Pop, Rap, Trap, EDM, Country, Indie, etc. The meaning of my alias 'The Millennial' relates to the media's glorification, yet slanderous means, of exposing the Millennial generation as a whole. The actions of a select group of the Millennial generation is ruining the general public's standpoint on how the Millennials think and behave. Because I consider myself a divergent member of the Millennial stereotypes, I found it humorous and ironic to name myself after such things.
I have performed in hundreds of live shows over the years as a drummer. My primary instrument was drums when I started out, before I had branched out to various different instruments and music making devices. I have played to audiences of one and to audiences of 3,000+. My greatest memories were headlining the NorVa in Norfolkm Virginia; and opening for Fuel, Third Eye Blind, Highly Suspect, and Set it Off.
My musical influences have varied over the years but yet, a few stand strong as honorable influences on my artistry to this day: Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), John Lennon (The Beatles), Alt-J, Jim Morrison (The Doors), Dave Grohl (Obvious...), Twenty One Pilots, Eminem, Donald Glover, Etc.
