The Malcoustics are an acoustic duo from Bronxville, NY. Started pretty much by accident when 2 friends saw a performer named "Adagio" playing covers at a bar named "Nickelbees" in Greenwich, CT in the summer of 1988 and thought "we could do that".
Early gigs were twice monthly at a tiny bar in Bronxville known as "Petes".
The Malcoustics produced one release named "Eye of The Fish" with a mix of covers and originals in early 1993. By the summer of 1993 a percusionist/vocalist joined the duo.
The duo dissolved in late 1993 with a final one off gig in the summer of 1995 at The Rare Duck on Marthas Vineyard, Mass.
