Its just me G.I.F.T the one man band making music for the LordBand/artist history
G.I.F.T(G.od's I.nstrument F.or T.omorrow) was born in Washington Heights NYC on March 4th, 1989, of Dominican descent. He spent most of his toddler years in NY, until his family figured theyre was too much violence in the neighborhood. So they packed up their bags and headed to New Jersey. He was raised in a small town called Bergenfield, where things seemed pretty stable. He attended elementary through high school in the small town. Growing up wasnt so easy, for the young Gospel rapper. He struggled with peer pressure, and with the influence of gangs that were outside of the town. At the age of 15 he had fallen into the trap of drinking, smoking and gangs around the area. Time passed and things for him began to get worse, he felt trapped. With a juvenile record, and negative friends he turned to the only thing that could help and it was God. When he was 18 years old, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Temptation crept up on him shortly after G.I.F.T was back too his old self. His mother had gotten fairly ill and was in and out of the hospital. With the depression of his mother and pressure of the streets, he fell into the habit of drinking and smoking once again. In his mind he felt as if he was all alone. A few times he made an attempt of suicide because he felt worthless. But God was still not going to give up on him. About six months after the event of his mother being ill. She began to recover, and feel a lot stronger. Although her son was always drunk and high on marijuana, he would always pray every night and ask God to please save her. His prayers were finally answered. Around July of 2008 G.I.F.T began attending Mercy Church of God in Bergenfield, where his life has not been the same since. He re made his commitment towards the Lord and is now a sound tech as well as a devoted Artist to the Lord. With much support from the Pastors, family, peers, ministry in Church Champions of Change and the grace of God, he is now committed to the word of the living God. Now, we find G.I.F.T pouring his heart out to the Lord with his music, and trying to bring more souls to Christ. Currently he is apart of a music ministry called Prophetic Sound Ministry, with Owner El Consejero. El Consejero is a very talented singer/producer who is truly taking the time and building the creativity of the young aspiring artist G.I.F.T. The G.I.F.T's main goal is to take the word of God to the next level and bring the youth closer to the presence of God.
