From a variety of backgrounds, these brothers in the Lord come together to present the gospel in song and share God's promises and blessings from personal experiences. "Living by Faith", they communicate God's love from "John 3:16." As they "Let Him Lead the Way", the group tells of the "Woman From Samaria" which is a testimony that "God Isn't A Failing God." Each member has a personal testimony which simply states "Jesus, You've Been Good to Me" and explains why they sing "I'm So Happy." These titles are the selections that comprise this collection.
Band/artist history
In the beginning of 1979, a group of guys waiting to play basketball began to sing old hymns and gospel songs in a stylish acappella harmony. At that time, all of the members were from a local church on San Antonio's East side. From there, the group started singing during worship services and on special requests throughout the city and across the country. As their walk with the Lord grew, their lives collectively individually changed. With a strong desire to share God's word and win souls for Jesus Christ, The Brethren, as they were known, acknowledged this call to ministry. Since then, four members became ordained ministers of the Gospel, and the group's ministry went beyond singing to include preaching, teaching, bible studies and work at the local jail and juvenile detention center.
