Hello. My name is Anthony. I am a Winnipeg born emcee trying my hardest to become the GOAT.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
- started writing in October of 2000.
- started spitting a few months later
- Tried out for a few Canada-wide competitions with no luck
- Occasionally perform at Purple Room Open Mic and Stage in Winnipeg, Canada
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My main venue is the Purple Room - Caravan Open Mic and Stage in the Exchange District of Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Other than that it has been mostly in front of friends and family and daily for my neighbors as I walk my dog. Lol. My greatest memory is rapping a verse from my song Too Pretty For Porn for Alexis Texas, even though she was kind of a jerk about it. Lol.
Your musical influences
Too many to name. At the moment my biggest influences are Childish Gambino, Big K.R.I.T. and David Banner. Eminem and Juvenile were the two artist that actually made me pick up a pen and start writing.
What equipment do you use?
A Microphone, laptop and mixer. Poor man's studio but it gets the job done.
