How did it start?
A couple of years ago me and a friend (who called himself Heihachi) formed a band called 'Hardhillest'. We wrote some songs together, recorded them and played them live a couple of times. But as times goes by we lost interest in our music eventually leading to the break-up of 'Hardhillest'. My dream however, never left my head. So a few years older, wiser and loaded with more skills than before the AFG returned on the spot with better quality. The current project is huge: before my trip to Australia (Nov.) I want to have recorded an album filled with my music and my ideas. With a little help from the heavy-weight champions of Hardhill this album will be an instant classic.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have played live once or twice. But I was too drunk to really remember my lyrics, so that was not so special at all. And the fact that only about 20 people saw me perform...
Your musical influences
Some inspiration comes from Mobb Deep, Dr. Dre, Timbaland, etc. Other inspiration comes from Dutch music from the 50's and the 60's. Also techno beats have my interest.What equipment do you use?
