The 5 Freddies
Those who know me know I don't post rehearsal recordings on my pages, but this is an exception!! This is the last and only existing recording of the phenomenal 5 Freddies, whose tale could bring a tear even to the dryest of eyes. Oddly enough, despite not being related, everyone in the band was called Freddy!! All had dreamed of each of the other members as small children and were spiritually connected. Formed in 2000, the 5 Freddies quickly became the biggest thing to hit the town of Indian Queens in centuries. Mothers tried to keep their daughters home for fear of inbreeding, uncertain if any of the band were relatives and police lined the streets at each gig. Mesmorised by their unique brand of pop rock, some people never recovered from trance like states. The dark and sinister criminal underground mafia of Indian Queens, headed up by haddock head Mc Pherson could not cope with the competition and vowed to destroy the Freddies. Under the disguise of "Fat Freddy" he tried to infiltrate the band by joining but was unsucessful as the band knew they could not afford to subsidise his ridiculous diet. Eventually, he planned their deaths and one dark night amidst the great Cornish earthquake the Freddies dissapeared into thin air never to be seen or heard of again. Some say they can hear the voices of Freddies on the wind saying "get the beers in you tight git, it's your round". Others report the Freddies have appeared to them in visions as talking bottoms demanding justice is done against Haddock Head. People say they could have ruled the kingdom of Par. We shall never know but legend has it that they will return in the coming of the next Cornish Earthquake!!
