Terje Dokland

I've played and made music off and on since I was a teenager, played in a punk band when punk was new, was known to play through an entire Pink Floyd album on my acoustic, have tinkered with recording over the past couple of years, and currently play the bass in a local band, Burning Vinyl.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played as a solo artist on some occasions, both acoustic and as a one-man band with a self-recorded backing track, sometimes as a duo with my old friend Vidar, and recently trying to get some live gigs with our band, Burning Vinyl.
Your musical influences
Early post-punk like The Cure and The Pop Group; pre-punk like Velvet Underground; blues and roots music, especially Ry Cooder and Bob Dylan; English progressive rock (Pink Floyd, King Crimson); early synthesizer music (Tangerine Dream); industrial music (Throbbing Gristle); David Bowie, Brian Eno, Neil Young, Lee Hazlewood, The Beach Boys, Jimi Hendrix.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Strat (Buddy Guy signature), Gibson Marauder, Takamine and Martin acoustics, Jackson bass, Peavey Classic guitar amp, Ampeg/Gallien-Krueger bass stack.
