Hi my name is Larry D. Taylor,Jr.. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa. I grew up in a place called Homes of Oakridge. I started out breakdancing in the 80's. Got in my first rap group in the early 90's; Kool KC and the Untouchables. I opened up for various groups such as; Father MC, Hi five, Oaktown 357, Intro and Spice1. In the mid 90's , I then ventured off doing choreography for local R&B hip hop groups. After that, in the late 90's, I helped start a local record label called Launchpad DMI Ent. We opended up for Junvenile, 3 6 Mafia, Black Rob, Coo Coo Cal and Bone Thugs & Harmony.
In 2002 I joined a another local rap group called Diamond Reign. We opened up for groups such as Nelly and the St. Lunatics. Also starring in local concerts and the Iowa State tail gate parties. Through all those ventures I tried to make a name for myself as a Hype Man on stage and a music composer in the studio.
As of 2005 I started my own company called TaylorMade B&B Inc. It includes a barber shop, beauty salon, nail salon, clothing boutique, photo imaging items such as t-shirts and dogtags. We also have Janovia's kitchen which is a soulfood take out. Just new to the edition is a music studio. We rent out studio time and compose beats.
Over all, I would like to start up a record company in the DMI. Diddy did it for New York, Nelly did it for St. Louis, so Larry T.(TaylorMade Bo$$) has a chance to do it for the DMI.
