Tasso

I'm mostly a one man band recording with Guitartracks Pro. Now and then I record with a friend and that's a good thing.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My first experience in a band was in 1990 when a bunch of friends and I started jamming in a garage. We were loud and full of energy and people would drop in to hear the chaos or stand in. I meet a lot of cool people and made great friends. I still play with some of them today but only the clean and sober.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I mostly play with my bluegrass buddies outdoors when the weather is good. I don't like being on stage but love sitting in a circle taking turns pick'n songs together. Years ago I was in a ME band playing for a belly dance troop. I played Dumbek and Oud. It scarred me to death. Not the music which I really enjoyed but the women were scarry as hell.
Your musical influences
I'm stuck in the 60's. I like to cover the older tunes. Once in a great while an original song pops outa me.
What equipment do you use?
Acoustic but I have all the bells and whistles collecting dust. Washburn HB-35, Washburn Acoustic/Electric, 12 string, Oud, "67 Fender Amp (tubes Baby!)
Anything else?
I have composed three original tunes so far. I don't know if I have another in me but you never know.
