T.Y., born in a small town in Arizona, has a unique style of Rap and Hip Hop. He has overcome some substantial obstacles throughout his life that have influenced some of his best rhymes, turning into the kind of music just about anyone can relate to. Just Livin, the newly finished first album, is the beginning of nothing but bigger and better to come, improving with every song. T.Y. was raised by a single mother working as a bartender leading to him spending a lot of time in bars listening to music. The bar was where the love of music was instilled in him with two older sisters playing different types of music all day, every day. In school, poetry grabbed him, the sound of words rhyming really intrigued him. Soon he found himself freestyle remixing different artists song, sometimes funny, to entertain his friends. Going through detention centers, rehab, and then a foster home, his writing and free styling gave him an outlet for his frustrations and feelings. When he was moved to Phoenix, he met some guys that free styled and influenced him to start writing his rhymes down. At the age of 18 he moved to Missouri where he met some friends that were really good which inspired him to practice more. He started writing to other artists beats and instrumentals and sometimes just to the silence. T.Y. now mixes all his own beats for his tracks. What started as fun and entertainment with an outlet for feelings, has now become a dream with dedication and a plan for his career path. As stated before, Just Livin was recently finished, T.Y. is an ever-improving upcoming M.C. with nothing but bigger and better to come.
