T Scott Beatz
Taurus Paul Scott is the youngest of three children and was born in
Syracuse, New York, and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Not finishing high
school, Taurus completed his GED, and went straight to the Conservatory
Music School of the Arts in Tempe, Arizona learning more fundamentals of
production and studio engineering. Understanding Phoenix was not the
best avenue for getting his music heard, he relocated to Crown Heights,
a section in Brooklyn, New York, that lived and breathed the hustle and
life that fit his swagger. Maintaining jobs at fitness gyms and Sam Ash,
Taurus juggled his music engineering and recording throughout the
night. His big break landed when his beat CD reached the hands of G-Unit
President, Sha Money XL. Shortly after, Taurus started producing and
engineering for G-Unit Records and going on the road with 50 Cent on
G-Unit’s 2005 national tour. Taurus was a featured panelist at the One
Stop Shop producers’ conference in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2007 and
he’s contributed to major G-Unit mixtapes and albums. Managed by Sha
Money XL’s Money Management Group, Taurus is now ready to step out the
G-Unit studios and branch out on his own, carrying the experience and
humility that got him this far. Not afraid to claim his roots, Taurus
carries’ the unlimited talent from his hometown on his back. He’s
helped paved the way for many local emcees and will continue to take
them with him. Influenced by Timbaland and Dr. Dre, Taurus Scott is
ready to show Hip Hop a different sound that’s certified Original.
