BIOGRAHPY
Antone Monroe was born on October 31, 1977 in Oakland, California. He is
formally known by his stage name Tonepaay which means NewThousand. Tonepaay is currently working on his debut solo release entitled âœTonepaayology: Chapter 1: The Introduction which features production being handled by Railroad Tracks Incorporated and features artists Numskull  of the Luniz,Caliban, K.G. Kapone, L.O.S. (Ladiez of the Struggle).
Tonepaay first started with a rap group called the C.I.A. (Chronic Inhaling Agency) making songs in pre-production studios, learning how to write songs and work different studio equipment. In the process Tonepaay has became a force to be reckoned with, knowing and understanding the studio aspect of things and working with different artists at many different levels. Just 2 name a few such as multi-platinum selling artist Shock G of Digital Underground, Eddie Projects of Hittas On Tha Payroll, and platinum selling artist Numskull of the Luniz. Tonepaay is to be the third generation of Hip Hop as he sat back and observed the great leaders of the west coast pave the way to success, filled with the knowledge and the formula to make good music. After leaving Oakland Tonepaay move and landed in the middle of the concret jungles of Chicago, thatâs when he linking up with K.G. Kapone and Railroad Tracks Incorporated.
Tonepaay is currently in Chicago, IL. doing shows and promoting and finishing up post-production on the album and also has the NewThousand Mixtape Vol. 1 in the works. Tonepaay will be featured on the Railroad Tracks Incorporated compilation as he continues to grind and stay true to his mission, success.
