TOKYO TRASH
I have disappeared from my music hobby for a while, but I feel like I might like to play music again. In the mean time, please enjoy some of my older recordings

Pyre of Innocence Pyre of Innocence
Wow...I've been away for a while...But finally something new!

While Tokyo's Burning While Tokyo's Burning
A really odd, somewhat depressing song that came to me in a dream.

River of Time River of Time
Piano composition. Never keep yourself up till 5 am for 8 days in a row...you come up with long strange, emotional things like this piano piece...

In my younger years, I was Guitarist/Drummer of my high school band Unforgotten. I got out of playing music for a while. But now I'm back and revisiting the experimental project I started under the name "Yuku-chan". I'm now TOKYOxTRASH. (This is at least partially because I've come to realize that my gender is not exactly what I assumed it was a long time ago....)
Band/artist history
Once upon a time, I was in high school and wrote an embarrassing history here...complete with emoticons and....uhg....it was just awful. That crazy kid is still in there somewhere....decided to take a break from musical experimentation for a while, but ultimately wanted to revisit it. And so here I am. However, I'm applying my music to a very different sort of project...details to come. I renamed myself TOKYOxTRASH in preparation for its creation, for reasons I'll explain in the project.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I sing live occasionally and have recently discovered that I have more of an interest in it than I thought. I intend to collaborate with other artists in the near future and feature their musical ability, with my own singing, but maybe with a to-be-decided twist...
Your musical influences
Wow...that's kinda hard...Um...ok, I'll split it up...
First group: (People that influenced me that I don't usually sound like overall, but that helped me on my way)
James Taylor, The Beatles (of course!), Loreena Mckennit, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, a few other guitarists I can only wish I was..., and about a million other bands and artists...
Second group: (People that influenced me that I sound a little bit like)
X Japan, hide, John Lennon, Malice Mizer, Def Leppard, Niagara, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, about a gazillion other bands and artists...
Overall, let's just say you're going to get the most bizarre techno-psuedo-rock-pop-folk mix from the ends of the earth...
What equipment do you use?
Nothing special, in fact whatever I can get my hands on. Most of the older tracks were done with a Fender strat, a Casio keyboard, and (I am ashamed...) the old Windows sound recorder (I made that thing do my bidding like no one's business). Newer recordings (to be uploaded) will probably make use of these again, in addition to various synthesizers, and Audacity for some basic mixing.
Anything else?
If they call you trash, own it, get back up, rule the world, and make them wish they were trash, too.
