THE RADIATORS

Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
A shrine to the 1990's band that was THE RADIATORS The Radiators formed around 1993 and moved into Gamble's (he of missing tooth) house in Cruddas Park, where they had many adventures and watched JAWS a lot. A LOT. After many rockin' gigs, original guitarist Clutch Daisy left the band and Roge stepped up to the fore as The Radiators guitarist. The final line-up was complete and the band went on to play tons of cool gigs, have a lot of parties and adventures (Kev can tell those stories better than me) and record a groovy album called 'SLIPPERY TRIP HAZARD'. The band were real crowd pleasers with classics such as 'Big Bulls Pizzle', Merry go round turns' and 'The United States of Coca Cola', to name but a few... Sadly, the band parted company in late 1997, soon after moving out of Gamble's and almost chinning an EMI record exec after a gig in London. The Gamble magic had left us and it was time to move on. Still, abiding memories linger of those Halcyon Days...The Bones of Jimi Hendrix, Jaws, Purple microdots, Sack, Maaammmaa, the leather pants and the minging green sleeping bag...great days, great days... The Radiators were: Al Elliott (Guitar/Vox) Kev Adamson (Drums) Phil Brindley (Bass/Vox) Roge Davies (Guitar/Vox) Honorable mentions to: Clutch Daisy (Guitar Vox) Ed Ludlow, Jimmy Wilson, Ift, Danny Porter, Steve and Kaye, Andy Carr, Mark Smith, Carter and all our mates. The Radiators are dead. Long live The Radiators!
