SYD, it's me!! (a long time ago).
I still think (and have listened to again) 'the hurt' is one if the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I really feel that it was written with, well, hurt!! It is emotive and I believe you when I hear it. you are very talented and all your other stuff is great but the Hurt does it for me.

Hi Syd - Not been here since Oct, how time fly's. anyway just listened to hey hey. Another good song. Like the effect of the slightly distant vocal.
I was travelling by car quite a lot today and had the MP3 on shuffle till I was reminded of throw the dog a bone - then listened to it 4 or 5 times.... I love that song.

new songs are awesome like usual !
i like the electric in peace with a gun,,
sounded great acoustic too but the electric suprised me and fits the song.
stick of wood is also a great song.
i also have a firepit in my backyard,,
great acoustic slide riff on that one.
and of course awesome lyrics and vocals.
added songs to my itunes page.
more Syd songs for my ipod !
you should be on tour with your songs and voice !

Never to late - to try three part vocals, well that works.... Great new feel to this one. Fantastic solo sound - just getting into it then it ended. Anyway as short as it is loved it.

I agree with Rich's comments some great work with the harmonics - Fine words again - (you can be dark sometimes) The guy with the blatent plug for a hit on his site did raise a question in my mind though - What is your favourite of the traks you have on here so far? Take Care - David

downloaded the new trigger song,another great song !
cool falsetto parts in the vocals.
i like the harmonics in the guitar riffs,the way they are part of the riff instead of just a second guitar fill.
awesome song.
