Born Joseph Lamar Hinson to Willie & Hattie Hinson October 26, 1989 in Selma,Alabama.$lick was 6months old when his parents divorced $lick & his 2 other siblings Bashannon & Willie Jr. moved with their mother to Ocala,Fl.Growing up for $lick was far from normal growing up in Parkside one of the most notorious neighborhoods in Ocala."He recalls walking to his bustop as a kid & seeing hustla's on every block" which is what molded $lick for his future.$lick moved to a close neighborhood called Tucka Hill.This is where $lick's life took a turn for the worse.10 days before his 11th birthday his brother died after a 3day fight with a coma.$lick says no one has fully recovered from the loss even now.After that $lick his cousin Cb got closer than they ever had before "No Homo".Cb was always tellin' $lick to rap for him but $lick always obliged.Until one day $lick did spit for him & Cb must of liked what he heard because the next day $lick was on his label Hustleland Ent.Now $lick is not just a rapper/producer he's showing his business savy.$lick has started a companies of his own.His label Alist Ent. & Productionz.$lick has molded himself to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.This young man's star is far from done shining.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yeah.I luv being onstage man like i always say i do my music for da people goonz around da world let's come 2gether
