StraightShot
This is probably the shortest lived band I was ever in. We had a few gigs together at a well known Tucson tourist resort that catered to the old western theme. (Ok, it was , if you insist on knowing.)
The group consisted of:
Tom Chambers - guitar, vocals
Becky Chambers - vocals & lead tambourine
Tom Enochs - lead guitar & vocals
Bob LaPointe - drums
Andy Barry - bass guitar & occasional vocals
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
had a very short existence, only performing for a couple of months together. Andy and Tom E. were bored to tears with the music repertoire. All-in-all, this experience was good for us, as we gained more experience with various styles of music. We all parted as friends.
Andy and Tom began forming their new group, . Tom Chambers later achieved success in Europe with his traditional Western music; which was very popular there at the time. I've heard he had two songs in the Top 10 over there... I'm proud to have been associated with Straight Shot.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
