Stillwater (Mindfield Productions)
Stillwater is an Ambient project created by Ryan Smart. The original concept was from back in 2007, but nothing has been done with it due to lack of proper tools. Now, let the ambiance... gather.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I kinda already told you, it's JUST getting on its feet, but it's been an idea for years now.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Stillwater has never, and will never be a live band. Period.
Your musical influences
The influences come from great ambient and funeral doom bands, as well as black metal. Burzum, The 3rd and the Mortal and Skepticism, to name a few.
What equipment do you use?
Pro Tools 8, Oxygen 25, and Xpand!2
Anything else?
When you listen to this, try not to think about the structure, if anything sounds cheesy, or cheap. Try to put yourself in a space. An empty space, and let this music fill it. Let's see what happens shall we?
