Steven Vitali

Steven Vitali is an award-winning artist and composer. In 2016, he moved to Los Angeles to further develop his career as a music artist and score composer.

Famous for his profoundly inspiring tunes and dramatic compositions. In terms of arranging music and creating his trademark theme music, he is credited by critics with having established a very high bar. Vitali has won several accolades all around the world for his work in music, film scoring, film directing, and screenwriting.

Steven Vitali is of French, Italian, and one-quarter German descent. This multidimensional instrumentalist was born June 21st, on the first day of summer and Father's Day, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Steven Vitali is extremely proud of his French Canadian, American, and Italian heritage and credits both the Italian cities of Fano and Pesaro with greatly inspiring him as a composer.

Steven's musical arrangements convey imagination and emotion which evoke a sense of passion, excitement, and romanticism. He can integrate this into his style in a remarkable manner. Vitali's music is a unique blend of virtually all styles, often merging popular and classical styles.

Steven Vitali's music has been represented by such companies as, Sony Music, Capitol Records, Warner/Chappell Music Canada, Warner Bros., and Koch.

In 1995 Steven Vitali was inducted into the Canadian Snowbirds Hall of Fame as an Honorary Snowbird in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Canadian Snowbirds flying team.

Vitali's masterful music is built on a romantic structure. It is all at once lyrical, rhythmical, and harmonically opulent. Vitali is a composer, arranger, and performer, equally at home writing for radio, the concert hall, and for film and television.

As a young boy, Steven received his first piano as a gift from a generous neighbor, who perhaps intuitively recognized his musical desires. Thus began his inspirational journey of musical expression. In Steven Vitali's quest to find new sounds, he truly relates and refers to the statement made by the late John Cage, who wrote, "My favorite music is the music I haven't yet heard. I don't hear the music I write: I write to hear the music I haven't yet heard."

On July 9th, 2025, Steven Vitali was chosen by his peers to join the

Recording Academy's 2025 New Member Class - a bold, diverse

collective of creators who are shaping the Academy and music

industry at-large. Steven Vitali accepted this incredible honor.
