Steve D'Apano
A percussionist with over 30 years of experience, he was a student of the well-known Puerto Rican percussionist Ray Mantilla. He has played with several groups in various musical contexts, from jazz rock to ethnomusic, pop and jazz fusion. He is currently part of the Latin American music group Encanto. He has a great passion for bossa nova and Latin American music.
He is the author of lyrics and music, with the album Kairos, published in 2024 on all music platforms, and a videomaker and writer of fiction and poetry with a collection of poems, Note inaudite, CLEUP editions, Padua, Italy, and several short stories published for Sensoinverso Editions", Ravenna , Italy.Admin
