"The first band to be reviewed on TSP is back with another demo since the departure of their bassist/vocalist. This time around, the boys have decided to go with a more power metal feel and scrapped the death vocals for clean ones. The two new songs , "End Transmission" and "Polarity", are still as technical and heavy as the tunes on "The Final Element" E.P., only this time new singer Jeremy Lynes adds an emotional performance to the fold with his unique style. The vocals may be different, and the lineup may have changed, but the music is still going in the same direction. Aside from the keyboards, which are missing from the new material, the guitar work and drumming is as masterful as ever. Rich even threw in some solos for you to enjoy. Those of you who dug "The Final element" may be scratching your heads after listening to the new stuff. But one thing is for sure, you wont hate it. Just make sure that you are listening to the metal band Steadfast , from Philly, and not the lame ass Christian pop group. These dudes are exceptionally talented and have a bright future ahead of them. -Rob Harris A.K.A. "Bubbs" Explicitly Intense, The Salty Pirate.
Band/artist history
Steadfast formed in late 2007 with four members based out of Philadelphia, PA. As the band progressed, musical differences led to the departure of the rhythm guitarist and vocalist. Now moving forward with its two founding members; guitarist/songwriter Rich Rehfuss and drummer Greg Rice, vocalist Jeremy Lynes was soon recruited thereafter. Writing a full-length LP complete with addictive, high-energy music and virtuoso guitar work, the trio has set their sights on raising the standard for American metal bands to come. With the bands focus on catchy melodies and lightning fast riffs, Steadfast is on their way to creating a new breed of heavy metal. Jeremy Lynes- Lead Vocals, Rich Rehfuss- Guitars/Composition, and Greg Rice- Drums
