Spotty Dogg Biography
Spotty Dogg formed in 2005 and hail from the North of Scotland â“ Inverness/Nairn. The band was originally formed by Alan and Jamie who wrote and recorded a few demo tracks. The need for drums recruited Fraser and then later, after a few ex band members, Gary on guitar and Rikki on bass completed the line-up. Spotty Dogg have performed many a live gig in and around Inverness attracting a local following. Through the official Spotty Dogg website and myspace, the Doggâs have caught the attention of many fans from across the globe.
In December 2005, Spotty Dogg released their debut single âœHigh Heelsâ which charted at No.1 online at Beta Records for 5 weeks. The debut album was released online and locally in October 2006 and promoted by a mini UK tour. The Doggs have been supported by many radio stations who have given regular airplay especially Dave Charles at HFM and Jason Shand at MFR. Recently Spotty Dogg revamped their studio equipment to achieve an improved fresher sound. The Doggs went back into the studio in 2007 and recorded a five track EP, Push to Perfection, which was released in March 2008. After a two year absence from the live scene, the Doggs are now back on the road sounding better than ever performing only original material which has ripened nicely during their time out.Band/artist history
