Spinz (Official)

Spinz is well known throughout the hip-hop community. As one half of the duo Dirt Farmers (Spinz&Cornfield), he has been tearing up airwaves and stages around the globe. Numerous banging 12-inch single releases such as Seperate the Image (Greenwise 2001),New Cali (Greenwise 2002), and OK GO(Greenwise 2003) to name a few, ensured his place in experimental hip hop history. URB Magazine named him Next 1000 in 2007 and gave him Independent Album of the Year credit for Experimental Hip Hop with his group Dirt Farmers for the year 2004. Spinz was even performed at Sundance Film Festival in support of his Dirt Farmers track "What Your After" in the movie "The Job" Starring the late actor Brad Renfro and Daryl Hannah (Greenwise 2003) Spinz also appears in the local Oxnard,California Directed Trae Briars III film "IN YOUR EYES" acting alongside Jada Pinkett Smith's brother Caleb Pinkett. Spinz also has collaborations with artists like Kurupt, Tangled Thoughts, LMNO of The Visionaries, MED, Declaime aka Dudley Perkins, Lexicon, Prozack Turner,Georgia Anne Muldrow,Ariano of Technicali.

Spinz has been touring constantly nationally and overseas in places like Germany,Switzerland, Austria,Croatia,Bosnia & Hercegovina, Holland, Slovenia, Czech Republic and many other countries. Spinz also hosts youth hip hop workshops often befroe the concerts so young hip hop fans can get hands on experience on how to make beats, scratch, rap and write raps.

Early 2004 saw the release of Spinz solo debut LP The Road Less Traveled to much acclaim and fanfare followed by a successful national tour. He founded Vibra Music in partnership with Greenwise Records and took the show on the road with the Road Less Traveled Tour in March 2005. 2007 finds Spinz bringing you all the material you could ever want. First, "Life,Love & The Low End", an album made entirely in Switzerland about life's many struggles and trials to become the man that Spinz is today. DJ LKB,WEGOTSOUL, and DJ Deemix combined on the production and DJ Smee (Germany) mastered the cuts for the album with guest appearances by Ariano of Technicali, Cornfield of Dirt Farrmers, Benefience,Prozack Turner and LIV.The first single to drop, Staying Warm B/W TURN EM' DOWN ," features production by DJ LKB and features guest appearances by Prozack Turner & Ariano of Technicali. For part two, "PROZ&CONZ," an album made after living in Eastern Europe with his wife and son for a year in Slovenia features guest appearances by LMNO of The Visionaries, Dudley Perkins, Georgia Anne Muldrow, MED,Illicit,Filiblunt and features production by Filiblunt,Swiftkicks,Loopman & Georgia Anne Muldrow. The final piece of the puzzle and what you've all been waiting for, "Tha Illegalz," is a self titled album for a collaborative effort with ZEP.

Early 2009 will bring the release of Spinz "This is what it feels like..." Vibra Music 2009 Featuring Lexicon, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Edo Maajka, Frenkie, and others.
