Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
South Star Beats has made music in one way or another since a kid. Starting out playing guitar then piano and that led to drums. South Star beats was in a rap group as a teen but decided to get into beat making.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes many times.
Your musical influences
scott storch is one of my biggest influences as a producer as well as zaytoven.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha motif, Alesis midi controller..numerous vsts.. Laptop with quad core processor, 16 gig ram. I use various instruments and sample various sounds. It really depends on what type of song I am making.
