Sonic Wash
Sonic Wash is the artistic vision of singer/songwriter and guitarist, Brandon Williams from OKC. Combining elements of indie alternative, pop, rock, and blues, Sonic Wash aims to create a soundscape of varied influences for the listener. The lineup consists of Brandon on vocals, guitars, bass, synths, with help from his wife, Jenna on vocals. The debut self-titled EP was released in June 2019.
On the debut self-titled EP, Sonic Wash explores themes of love, loss, self doubt, and ever-present longing. This 5 song EP opens with colorful synths, delayed guitars, and major chords reminiscent of U2 and Coldplay. "Can You See The Sun", brings back memories of early 2000s alternative crunch. The third track, "Flame" delves into blues guitar sensibilities, while "Curve Ball" is driven by hypnotic rhythms and haunted vocals. The final track, "Marigold," concludes an epic journey with lush strings, warm acoustics, and tragic lyrics.
