Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I have always been drawn to music. My family all had great music tastes and I could sit for hours and hours listening to song after song. R&B, Blues, Reggae--all of that real soulful stuff. As I grew up I started listening to more rock and hip-hop. My love for music lead me to want to be able to perform and produce it.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Being a songwriter lead to me becoming an artist. I started writing songs on guitar and piano and so the next logical step for me was to go the singer/songwriter route, which lead to performing with band members. It is something very special to be in a room full of people connecting with you as an artist.
Your musical influences
I can never answer this question for fear of leaving out someone that has really helped to contribute to my understanding of what it means to be a true artist in the field of music.
What equipment do you use?
I still lean heavily on my acoustic guitar and acoustic piano for songwriting. For beat making, It's my MacBook Pro with Ableton as my DAW software program used for composing, producing, recording, mixing and editing audio and MIDI.
