Skinny Nick
Assssuuuuuhhh dude you can call me Skinny Nick , im a Beat maker/ Producer based in PA.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started making beats to be able to produce beats for my own songs, as time went by I started making EDM and Dubstep which brought me more in connect with sound design, producing, and engineering rather than being a rap artists... After that point ive worked at a few music studios in NJ and NYC, now with gained knowledge and experience i have opened Low Life Records where i record, mix, engineer, and master all my own original tracks to to sell. After 3 years of experimenting with many different music styles, I give you artist my skills to further your own.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Ive been backstage setting up shows. Would i like to perform? probably as an EDM artist.
Your musical influences
I grew up being open to all sorts of music, when it comes to rap and rap beats, xxxtentacion, Capital Steez, Flatbush Zombies, Pro Era, $uicideboy$, J.Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and many more influenced me. As you could tell from the examples, i loved lyricism. Nowadays though, I couldnt tell you where my influences are, my creative flow is always different, new, and original.
What equipment do you use?
I have the full package of FL Studio for all my purposes. My main pair of studio monitors are KRK Rokit5's, and if i really wanna hear my music like it was at the concert, a SoundBox 2 handles tat, playing at over 120db. For recording I use a renowned AudioTechnica 20/20, capturing all the frequencies I need for a suburb job. When it comes to my MIDI board, a simple Akai MPK mini suffices, although id like a full keyboard MIDI in the future.
Anything else?
Godspeed
