Sinx The Thinker
Hey, What's up? The name's Sinx, The Thinker and I'm an artist from East, KY.
Thinking my way to fruition.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well it started out as making poetry back in middle school. I'd write little rhymes and poems about how I was feeling or going through. I never really placed much value on my spare time scribbles back then.
( But really that s**t was the foundation for everything! )
Over the years I started putting more and more time into creating and studying the craft and one day I noticed other artists were coming up with similar ideas or sometimes saying the same exact things that I had wrote years ago! Then I finally started realizing my worth, and the potential these thoughts and scribbles could have.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We used to have live freestyles and rap battles at parties back in the day but I haven't got the chance to perform at any major venues yet.
Your musical influences
Some of my main influences are, Mac Miller, The Whole ODD Future collective, Lupe Fiasco, Tech N9ne, Kendrick Lamar, and J.Cole.
What equipment do you use?
I'm working with a Scarlett Studio CM25 and a Focusrite 2i2 interface and they've got some miles on them. I bought 'em back in 2014. Ha. They've even survived a few years in the trunk of my car!
So, that's +1 to Focusrite for durability! As for the quality.. I'm sure the mic has lost some clarity through the weather over the years.
