Silentboy
All these tracks have been recorded in the house on my pc, or as some of the older ones on a 4 track tape machine. ....my brother Dave is responsible most of the vocals...however... I'm singing on "camera shy" .....and of course......all guitars/bass/drum machine stuff is yours truly.
I just do this stuff fur the fun of it, and only when ah get the chance ,,,,which is usually late at night !!! So headphones on these days!!!
There is no real history available. Just some talent but mostly total incompetance mixed with a little perseverence
I think it sounds good....dont you?
Dont answer that question........ hey .....have you done better ....lets hear it then!!
None of these tunes have been played live ..........
Every thing from Slayer to Simon&Garfunkel, Tool to Brass bands from old forgotten mining villages.
Gibson/Ovation/Ibanez guitars
Encore Bass (wooo hoo)
Alesis drum machines
Shure mikes
Crappy cheap Yamaha keyboards
marshall amps
BOSS GT6 effects unit
ZOOM effects unit
UB502 Behringer mixer
Tinfoil wrapped round an old milk carton effects unit.
The dog.
I would like to use Dave Mustaines guitar but unfortunately he wont hand it over!!
Also......recently I have just got a korg nano-pad midi drum controller, which I'm farting about with EZ Drummer DFH ....(vast improvement drumwise)....y'ken
haha!!, i guess you raped the turkey? your latest guff sounds like bloody duke nukem.....
get some real ideas, and i am amazed you are allowed on the net after all your convictions.
good music though!!
make love later?Hey Silentboy(s)!!!
Wow there are some really cool songs in your repituare here!! I loved "The Hanging Man", and "Koranimal" Both I added to my stations..Really lived them. I also took a fancy to "Sweet Relief" , as well as "Tweety" LOL Nice and Heavy!
You guys have alot in here. I'm yet to listen to them all, but my random picking of songs have not disapointed me :) (Very rare)
I'll be back later.
Denyou can do no wrong. great stuff here, even when you just seem to be fooling around with assorted ideas and short riffs. I liked zoom funk, camera shy, spooky feed back, etc.
--stockwrockhi,i read a post at the cakewalk forum concerning the dr-880..i think your music sounds good.. your doing a fine job with the sr-16..nice guitar tones too..
i am also one of those guitarist that is not good with anything hi tech (like software) i hate fl and know nothing about reason and don't care to anymore.. i have recorded samples using drum loops..as a result i don't record much music
i think my music will finally have variations when my dr-880 arrives next week .i will answer any questions yu might still have when i get it..anyways your sounding good with what you have..later
Good to hear from you again! Haven't been doing much with the music lately, waiting for it to get warm so I can work in my shed in the back yard... How's things in the U.K.? Bill
