We are a metal band straight out of Lakeland Florida. We've been together as Silence the Static for about a year. We've been in many bands prior to StS, many of which consisted of the same members! As all musicians know, it takes a while to find the perfect combination of personalities, communication, talent, and style!
We strive off of originality. We have a wide range of styles presented by each band member to create an amazing sound. We hope to have a little bit of something for everyone. Anything from melodic metal, thrash, hardcore, death metal, to groove rock, alt. rock, and so on and so forth.
We love and appreciate all of our fans and friends who support us. Without fans we and everyone else would be nothing. We're trying to bring a new sound to the metal/rock scene, and we aim to not disappoint.Your musical influences
We like being unpredictable. Mudvayne is a great example. Pulling many different genres into a single song. Great structured songs, smooth transitions, shredding solos, technical drumming, and very versatile vocals.What equipment do you use?
