Sheed aka Sim from Bradenton/ Sarasota Florida. Been doing music in the aspect of writing & producing for some years now. Have had a number of performances and looking to make my mark in the industry. My influences and style are basically southern underground artists family & friends. National influences musically all coasts. My style varies depending on the mood vibe and direction of the song.
Band/artist history
I started making music with my older brother dj spade with a mixer and vinyl records. We use to sample records and I would write to it. He's my producer and dj and we grew to making mixtapes singles albums to videos what have you. It was a struggle & still is. The music hasn't changed much just matured somewhat.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes I have performed live a number of times. Opening acts for different rappers already established in the game. I've done talent shows holiday events you name it.
Your musical influences
My influences are heavenly mainly family members & friends for the most part. I rely on them for things to rap about & not rap about. I listen to a lot of different music from the 70s soul Era to classic rock underground rap hip hop jazz reggae dance hall disco u name it.
What equipment do you use?
Pad & pen. Phone. Vocal chords. But foreal I think you'll have to ask my producer about all that equipment stuff.
