Shawn Minor Music
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
My family has been musical for generations. My father is the Oldest of 10. He and all of my aunt's and uncles can attest to the dedication my grandfather demanded of them towards their craft. People would call my grandfather the Joe Jackson of The Minors because there was a price to pay for misplayed notes. At any rate, the family has continued our love of music and expressed it in service to churches, venues, and organizers - anyone willing to catch a good vibe.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have only played live at church and a few fill in gigs for friends bands. I enjoy it. I would say the most special moment was in DC after a gig with "Wolves in Space". A gentleman made it a point to stop us after our set and express how awesome he thought the performance was. It was the first time that happened and it was in DC, which to me was a big deal - my first fan ever and in DC at that?! Lol. So that was a special moment. However, I'm eager to build a fanbase that would enjoy a live show as well as enjoy the music I simply produce.
