Sharay Patrice Staton was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. As a child she was always dancing and singing around the house and anywhere else she could be heard. Throughout her childhood she always wanted to pursue her singing career but her parents pushed her to graduate from high school and go to college. After she graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Business Information Systems she became fully dedicated to her music career. She began to write her own music, record in different studios, and sing in different local events around Nashville. She has opened up for Lil' Wayne, Yung Joc, LLoyd, and The Dream. The overall feel of her music is diverse but relatable. Her writing is inspired by everyday situations that listeners can relate to.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes I sing live.
