Born and raised in Boston, MA(Roxbury) Shannyns spark of music and dance came at an early age, which was influenced by his family. Growing up with a mother who was a dancer, a father that was a well respected DJ and a grandmother that taught classical piano lessons. His passion and respect for music and entertaining continued to grow over the years inspiring all he meets. Shannyn began writing songs at the early age of 9; the first song he ever wrote was called Sweet Love. By the time Shannyn turned 18yrs-old, he had performed on the famous stage of Apollo seven times and won.6 shows of the 7. Shannyn began developing his own platform by performing where ever there was a stage, microphone, and a crowd of people. Performing at functions, talent shows, clubs and hip-hop shows. Noticed by one of the city of Bostons greatest choreographers and talent agent, David Vaughan. Shannyn Casino was honored for his talent receiving the first ever David Vaughn Award. Shannyn is more than a triple threat in the entertainment world. His dancing and choreography is high-tech, hardcore, but smooth reminding you every time of the last dance video you seen. Those skills landed him in his first major dance video directed by Billie Woodruff, for the song Whats Luv by Fat Joe & Ashanti.(Juwanna Mann movie soundtrack) Shannyn is a determined and focused individual who always sets goals, working hard to achieve them. He is devoted to always improving his talent and giving 100%, while pushing those around him to improve as well. Shannyn is highly recommended in Boston because of his dedication to excellence and professionalism. He is a star in the making destined for great success as he continues to utilize his multifaceted talents and skills. I do play live. I perform where ever there's a crowd and the people are ready to be entertained. The most special moment for me is when I was performing a song that I had put on another site for people to hear, the crowd was singing along the words with me. LOUD & CLEAR! Love that!
