This is a collection of all of my solo material. Most of it has been collaborations through sites such as Guitar.com. Some of it is my own personal material, that I have only put up here on Soundclick (and therefore, my Myspace page as well).Band/artist history
I've been playing guitar, trumpet, piano, and a bit of singing since I was about 12.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live as often as I can! I really enjoy the adrenaline rush when an audience is enjoying what you are doing.
Your musical influences
Deep question, so I'll leave it to three of each:

Did I mention I like Ibanez...?Very cool that you're into Dream Theater and Rush. They're some of my main influences ( I've seen Rush 25 times in concert :-) ) I'm also originally from Long Island so I love DT cause of their musicianship of course but also cause I understand their vibe and where they're coming from. John Petrucci went to Kings Park HS a town away from mine that I grew up in - East Northport. When I went to Five Towns College I used to hear many stories about the Majesty gigs ( that was Dream Theater's previous name ) and eventually DT's gigs then Images and Words came out in 93 and I've been following them ever sinceAll comments (2)

I was in a progressive rock band too from Long Island called Unified Past. Many of the tracks I was involved in are on my music page here. Steve the guitar player moved to upstate NY but has continued with U.P.. And many of the tracks I worked on with him have been popping up on their last few albums. My newest album has a lot of proggy stuff too. Only this time I play guitar primarily and all the other instruments as well. Cool to hear your songs man. Keep on a rockin! ! Vinny K
