My name is Marcus Davis,I am a Multi-Instrumentalist Musician using the Moniker Serious Nubian.I'm also a Composer ,& Podcast Creater.I have a Studio called Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions which is also the name of my Podcast.Band/artist history
I have a lot of experience playing in bands from the UK,Canada, & The States.I'v been on tour with various different bands ranging from Pop,Rock,Reggae,Jazz,R&B ,in places like North West Territories ,Georgia,Toronto,Vancouver,Mississipi,Bristol,London.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes course i'v played in front of an audience, I'v played at the Milenium Dome in Cardiff in the year 2000 in front of Thousands of people.Most special memory was playing at one of those Bargin Blues Festivals in Mississipi infront of Thousands of people.I was so high after that i almost went crazy.
Your musical influences
Too many to mention ,but The Commodores, Kool & The Gang ,in fact it was Robert Kool Bell that got me hooked on playing the Bass when i saw him and the band as a teenager performing @ Top Rank Suite in Reading 1976.I was at the front of the stage just watching playing Bass in his white suite and looking cool ,i said to myself that i wanted to be like that.What equipment do you use?
