Serge Isakoff

Serge Isakoff, was born in St.Petersburg, Russia, in a music family. Has been playing the piano since 6. At the age of 16 started composing his own compositions for piano blending jazz and pop music. In 1993 collaborated with Bob Hiddema of Kalamazoo, Michigan on his song "Safe Haven" (Hiddema provided the lyrics for the song). In 1994 the song became the semi-finalist in the coutry category at the International Songwriting Contest in Atlanta. The song "Safe Haven" features Bob Hiddemas vocals and Serge Isakoffs piano. Overall, has about 30-40 piano compositions that he would like to turn into songs. Major influences include Elton John, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Phil Collins. Writes and performs jazz and pop compositions for piano. Currently looking for gigs to perform his piano works and piano standards. Also trying to find a lyricist collaborator who could write good quality lyrics to his melodies. Some of his melodies are on par with the best PaulMacCartney - Elton John - Billy Joel hits.
