Selbst-Morder was formed in 2005 as an experimental bass project rooted in black metal. After an initial demo with three band members Selbst-Morder became the solo project of Mr.Morder and has since went on to produce another demo titled A Mechanical Sphincter, a limited soundscape EP called As Steam Rises From The Wound, a split with Russian band Schlam, and a double remix album with Napalm Dave of Somber Gravity. Coming soon is a six way split with The Hypodermic Eye, Deadskin, W.Grinders, Schlam and August 6, 1945 and the debut full-length from Selbst-Morder titled Manirak.
Mr.Morder is also a part of the experimental metal project Shadows Remember His Toil (which features the members of The Hypodermic Eye and He Who Is I Am respectively) and the experimental noise beast Jormungandr (with He Who Is I Am).
