No i dont know one thing about surf music,, but the Tom beat of the drums kinda lent its self to this idea its rough but i think the tone is there and the structure but the lead guitar is very wanky!! ick

ok this was my idea for the BT Learning to Crawl.. just some weird off count rythems going against each other in an Andy Summers kinda stab.. well it felt that way.. i guess some of i like quite well some is a bit muddy.

just some idea im playing around with.. fast tempo drums with a base line thats kinda quick and some fillish guitar.. all very clean.. very rough but its a place holder for some more polished ideas

another AGF tone workshop, went for some new sounds on this Ardian Belewish rhythm figures.. very odd timing and a Frippish backwards swell delay kinda thing not for every one.. but i dig it.. BT by XOAS..

a little exercise on delay i did that i though sounded cool so i processed it through Sonar with a final Mixdown and put a 4ms double on it to thicken a bit.. the chordy bit is just saving a place for something more interesting.

Just another Backing Track since im learning to mix on Sonar.. needs some lead added but its got a nice complete sound to it and flows ok, think Latin and mellow Santana type of tones. that would go well with it

i took another shot at this BT Xaos put up... less hurried more melodic and tighter.. mho the Woo Waa echo stuff kinda reminds me of whales that explains the picture and title of the tune

ok not for every one, granted but its a tribute to the kinda stuff Any Summers and Robert Fripp put out I Advanced Mask and that kinda thing ,sound scape kinda stuff.. it helps me with the finer points of mixing.

Here my take on Bar fight,,, its very rough and ugly and the idea is not quite there i just cannot compress the sound for the transitions right.. but do like the tone of the lead and the phaser sounds really cool on this one... at least i think so.

Old School Fish and Chips heavy rocker. has a motor head kinda feal to me.. or that style all based on E.. just walk with the bass a bit and add some cool licks
