The 9 song Live album has a pressing of 200 copies and is from San Francisco Blues appearance at the Fine Arts Festival in Cartersville Ga. This album is acoustic and is live at the Cartersville Depot. Special Guest some CSX trains who make a tremendous cameo.Bob Harvey signed the posters and stickers and these are sure to be collectors items.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Bob Harvey (born 1933) is an American bassist, best known as the original bassist of Jefferson Airplane. Contents With Jefferson Airplane edit Harvey joined Jefferson Airplane in 1965 playing acoustic bass. In October 1965, the band felt he was not up to par, and he was replaced by Jack Casady. Other projects edit He co-founded the bluegrass group the Slippery Rock String Band. He was in the Holy Mackerel, with Paul Williams who recorded the song "Wildflowers", and in San Francisco Blue with Brian Fowler. [1] They changed their name to Georgia Blue. Bob Harvey currently plays in a duo with a local guitar player named Randy Gleason out of Lancaster, Ohio. Kentuckian Brian Fowler Formed Bibb City Ramblers with Dan Davidson in 2007. BCR have released 6 albums and played major festivals all over the Southeast.Brian has recorded 4 albums with Spaceseed recording and touring with Hawkwind members Harvey Bainbridge,Bridget Wishart and Alan Davey. Brian has enjoyed 20 +years with SPACESEED founder John Pack writing and collaborating.Brian has appeared in Relix,Maverick U.K,A full length interview in Holding Together the Jefferson Airplane fanzine. Brian has recorded with Bob Harvey original bassist of Jefferson Airplane and co-written a song with Bob and Moby Grape guitarist Skip Spence called Hurting For People. Brian is mentioned in 2 Jefferson Airplane Books "Take me to the Circus Tent" and "Got a Revolution".Brian born in Kentucky plays guitar,mandolin,therimen. Brian raised on bluegrass but can play all styles and enjoys diversity. Brian remains always dedicated to Acoustic And Bluegrass music first and foremost. Brian co- founded The Jupiter 4.
