I'm just another guitar-playing geezer who never became a star. Originally from Wisconsin, I now live in Atlanta Georgia.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Digging WAY back... Anyone remember a central Wisconsin band named "Tourque?"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live only a handful of times each year. And it's typically a private gathering, or a Jam with local friends from the Fender Discussion Page.
Your musical influences
My earliest influences include Ritchie Blackmore, Lee Pickens, John Nitzinger & Robin Trower. Later-on I also became a big fan of Gary Moore, Yngwie, and Vinnie Moore. Lately I've discovered Kelly Simonz. Look him up, he's amazing...
What equipment do you use?
I'm pretty much a Strat player, though I have owned many Gibson guitars along-the-way. Most of my Strats are customized to my own liking. I enjoy changing pickups... I own a few amps, but my main amp is a 1982 Fender Concert that has been modified quite a bit.
