Band/artist history
I used to record as a cyber-grind project called PROCESS OF REGURGITATION started in the early 2000s (that profile is still up on here.) but fell out of it around 2010. the n I started recording stuff again on my phone through GarageBand but instead of cyber grind I was recording acoustic tracks with my bass, a hand drum, and beat to death guitar. I was going to call the project raptured into chaos but due to no one really being interested I shrugged it off and decided shrug is a good a name as any.
Your musical influences
Agoraphobic nosebleed, todays the day, Bethlehem, lack of interest, the melvins,DRI.
Old fast and fun grindcore, speedcore, hardcore techno, raw black metal, doom metal, ambient/drone.
What equipment do you use?
Recording/ MacBook Pro with Logic Pro X, eurodesk MX3282A mixer, audiobox 96b interface.
Drums/ Alesis Crimson II E-drum, sometimes Korg gadget, sometimes a 3ds, sometimes samplers. ( Korg es2 sampler, korg volca, Mpc live in the past, might get another es2 in the future...)
Strings/ BC RICH Warlock played through a tiny amp... like tiny. Ibanez Roadster series 2 fretless bass played through Fender Rumble100 bass amp. ( Both are linked via headphone jack to the mixer so I don't disturb everyone in my house while I record. I don't like the amps in logic all that much... :/ )
