SCP (UK)
Hello I am called SCP, which stands for Slik Clik Produxionz (its spelt that way don't worry)
I've always had a thing for making music from young - used to sing, sometimes MC, used to play the acoustic drums and production enabled me to express my ideas in a different way to before
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The whole Slik Clik Produxionz started from 3 and a half years ago. I started making tunes in 03 on my own, and then I had a m8 of mine (PS) who joined me up until 2005, but unfortunately things didn't work out
Since 05/06 SCP became my producing name.
I make Hip-Hop, Grime, Dubstep, Garage and Dance music (bassline, funky house etc) as well as some experimental bits.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Only a production team, but I like 2 hear my stuff played on a big system, like when No Gifts was played @ Mic Matters
Your musical influences
Everything plays a part in a sense, but direct influences are garage, grime, D&B, dubstep and hip-hop, with a hint of R'n'B
What equipment do you use?
FL Studio 7 to build the beats, Cubase (@ studio) to mixdown/master
currently learning how to use Reason
Anything else?
