Samgar Biscomb (formerly known as Reggae Sam) previously gained his fame as Reggae Sam pioneer of Spanish Reggaeton from Panama. Samgar moved to the united sates to work on his singing career. After 3 years of writing and recording Samgar had the opportunity to record his new cd and has returned stronger and better with his new music SOCATINA, SOCATINA is a mixed Caribbean and Latin flavored music soon to be taking over the charts for years to come. During this time Samgar has performs in many festivals and clubs gaining popularity in the northeast United States.
Samgar Biscomb was born in the city of Colon, Panama but at the age of five he moved into a popular neighborhood called Rio Abajo located in the Panama City. A unique place heavily influenced by West Indian culture and traditions, it is consequently the central melting pot of musicians in the genre of Calypso, Salsa and Jazz, these were the influences that lead to the creation of Samgar's unique style of music SOCATINA
Early in his career Samgar gained huge success in Panama. Soon after Samgar joined the reggae group called "Las Cuatro Potencias". the group was signed with an international label in the United States (BMG International) this was a major stepping stone in Samgar's career. His song "Dime Por Qué?" from the album "Timeless", was an MTV pick of the week music video view all over the world.
Upon his returned to Panama he immediately started collaborating with long time friend and famous singer El General, soon Samgar Biscomb and El General began to record and tour together. Both artist started to Touring in Costa Rica, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Portugal and The United States. While on tour Samgar signed a contract with Mock & Roll Record Company and earned his first gold record. Throughout Samgar's singing career he recorded many songs & cds titles include:
