S 19

S.19 a.k.a. Sophistafunk 19 has taken a different approach into the music world with his debut project. This seven song journey is compiled of soulful sounds laced with digital textures that will hover over uncharted territories and eventually land on Planet Gone. Planet Gone will take you beyond the realms of your typical neo-soul cd. It is filled with dark, grunge driven guitars along with non-traditional urban production. Club paced but yet smooth production from Mista Bright & S.19 give this album a tailored pop presence. Along side the radio friendly elements lies a lyrical content that parallels those of Erykah Badu, Anthony Hamilton, and Cee-Lo Green. If you have been faced with challenges in life, you will enjoy this album. When you come to the fork in the road, there must be a decision made in order to move forward. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?

I perform with a live band and a DJ. On any given night I also will have all types of artist and other musicians performing along side me. Grafitti, sculptors, painters, etc..... I will perform anywhere that can appreciate good music
