Here is a rendition and recording I did of the ever popular Pachebel Canon in D, with special Christmas lyrics added (in a similar vein to Trans-Siberian Orchestra's Christmas Canon).
Here's a new arrangement and recording of the beloved Christmas hymn Silent Night
Here's a new arrangement and recording I did of the beloved Christmas hymn O Holy Night.
This piece is from an Advent chorale Bach composed in 1723. It's often heard at this season and at weddings. This is a recreation of an modern arrangement done in the 1990's, released on a friend's Christmas album (Annie Meadows "Christmas Memories")
Simple recording of Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me by EJ. Just keyboard and vocal. Love this tune, speaks louder than ever to me in this season of life.
Here's one of JS Bach's well known keyboard inventions, Invention 8, with a modern twist!
This is an extended and rework/remix of what was originally a demo song on Reason 2.0 from way back in 2002 called I Dig Guitars. In addition to rearranging and extending things out, I also added new beats, sections, and a bunch of other new stuff!
An short, expressive piano based piece.
A new arrangement I did of Hard to Get, by Rich Mullins. I used hammered dulcimer, upright piano, mandolin, and voice.
Cover of Love Hurts, inspired by the Gram Parsons/Emmylou Harris duet version. Fabulous female vocal part laid down by my good friend and long time duet partner Tone Hjelt from Oslo, Norway. Hope you enjoy our collaboration!
A vocal/instrumental cover of If I Stand, composed and recorded by the late Rich Mullins Many may also remember the cover version of this done by Owl CityAdam Young
Concept for a short film soundtrack. Having fun with vocal echoes in the process!
I built this full reproduction from the ground up. Wanted to get as close to the original as possible, just for fun! No samples or pre-recorded tracks used, except for the background sounds from the original at the beginning for authenticity. Enjoy!
This is a re-imagining/remix of an original song written back in 1985. The funky, complex bass pattern was the central component of the song. This new arrangement and recording maintains that original bass vibe, but takes the tune into new realms!
Here's a reproduction of 39 by Queen. It's a collaboration with a guy from a home recording forum I ran across over 10 years ago. Guitars & bass are him, lead vocs & organ are me. BGV's are both, plus some synth voice also.
Here's a rocking recreation of the classic Token's tune (also featured in Disney's The Lion King). Wimoweh, wimoweh, wimoweh!
Here's an instrumental piece I composed and recorded for a short film scoring competition, called Work Before Play.
