Ricky Gibson
I got into music as a very young kid around 5 or 6. I learned from watching my dad and my mom's cousin. In my teens I was the front-man for a very successful local basement band. All originals. Covers are for try hards.
Band/artist history
I started playin guitar in 1983. I was always surrounded by musical influence. It Was until I sold my soul to Satan in 1990 that a year later I formed my first band.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I've met influential artists like Bo Diddly, Morris Day, Scotty Almond. I respect original music. People that play covers are trash to me.
Your musical influences
I was raised by candle burning parents in the late 70s early 80s.
What equipment do you use?
I play a 1983 MIA Telecaster, a 2020 Epiphone Les Paul, and I give head on the side.
Anything else?
People that only play covers shouldn't play at all.
