Richard Brobst ia a singer songwriter carving out a place for himself in the progressive country style genre of music. His latest cd, "Might Be Today," by KMA Records, in Nashville will be released in June,09. His lyrics are fresh and unique and can usually find a place in your life. Richard has been writing and publishing poetry in anthologies, textbooks, and university publications for 30 years. "Poetry requires a keen observation of the subtleties of life. Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play live in the Sarasota, Fl. area. I enjoy playing at house parties and divorce parties....smile. Playing live is all about the music and the audience.

I am being honest here....John Prine, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Steve Goodman, Leonard Cohen and The Band.
What equipment do you use?
I have a good size PA with my own sound engineer...I have smaller stuff for smaller gigs too!
Anything else?
My wife Pamela and I own and operate a small but effective guitar shop in Englewood, Fl. I give a lot of guitar lessons....thank goodness for the lessons!

Really nice country song you got here! Very nice electric lead and pedal steel, sound really sweet, topped off with your voice that reminds me of John Prine who is an awesome artist, great storyteller, and that's how this song feels as well. Really nice production, keep on with the music ;)
